HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program)
HEAP will help clients in need pay their gas, electric, heating, or cooling bills. Applicants determine which utility bill they need help with paying. If they qualify, a credit will appear on their bill. If the monthly utility bill is included in the rent, the client will receive a check for the amount of the approved utility bill. You can only receive assistance one time per year.
